On October 12, high society has gathered at one of the most luxurious hotels in Nice, Le Negresco, for a dinner with a charity auction by Gros & Delletrez in partnership with the Grand Hotel and AUBERI.
Lilia joined the initiative Rose à la Folie, founded by Emmanuelle Clément. Ms Clément and two of her best friends once were simultaneously diagnosed with cancer. Supporting each other, friends were able to overcome the life-threatening stage of disease and promised themselves that they would help other women in this difficult fight.
The designer offered her hat as a giveaway and prepared a special collection, a percentage of sales from which will go to breast cancer research at the Curie Institute.
Guests also had the opportunity to try on hats from Lilia Fisher's couture collection and take photos in them.
For more than ten years of my brand's existence, I had quite a few clients who have undergone chemotherapy. I know how important it is for them to feel beautiful especially during this period of their lives. The headwear I have selected for them had truly magical transformation effect. The sparkle in these women's eyes is the highest reward for my creativity. And although I understand that the real salvation from is in the hands of talented doctors, the Almighty and the patients themselves, I want to believe that I am making at least a tiny contribution to the fight against cancer, giving these brave fighters a moment to distract and just feel like themselves: feminine and delightful," comments Lilia.
The program also included performances by pianist Luke Escalano and the group Les Garçons Chics, magic tricks from Sylvain Mirouf, and compositions by Zhanna Cherhal.
The main heroes of the evening were chef Virginie Basslo and Julien Dugour as well as Mercedes Bonnes who was the host of the evening.
